Using Delegation (Viewing and Managing Another Account)
Last updated: March 26, 2026
Once you have delegation access, you can view and manage another teammate’s account directly within Workmate.
This allows you to act on their behalf without needing access to their inbox or calendar outside of Workmate.
How to View Another Account
Go to the Team section
Find the person whose account you have access to
Open the options menu (•••) next to their name
Click View Account
You will now be viewing their account.

What Happens When You View an Account
When you enter someone else’s account:
You are acting on their behalf within Workmate
Any changes you make apply directly to their account
Their tasks, settings, and scheduling preferences are fully accessible
You’ll also see a banner indicating that you are viewing another user’s account.

What You Can Do
While viewing another account, you can:
Update scheduling preferences and availability
Modify settings and profile information
Manage and complete tasks
Coordinate meetings on their behalf
Managing Tasks
You can manage tasks as if you were that user.
Within a task, you can:
Add updates or instructions
Guide how the task should be handled
These actions are performed as the account owner, not as yourself.

Important Notes
All changes are saved directly to the user’s account
Actions are performed on behalf of that user
You should only make changes you are authorized to handle
Always confirm instructions when coordinating on behalf of others
